Based in California's Napa Valley, Bel Canto is a 100% home grown select chamber vocal ensemble. Founded in 2015, we arose from a desire to create a place where some of Napa Valley's finest singers could perform challenging, beautiful choral music at a very high level. We perform music spanning more than 500 years, from Renaissance works to living composers, both a cappella and with accompaniment. Additionally, we choose acoustically rich and intimate spaces so that the audience can connect more meaningfully with the performers as well as with the music. Our mission has always extended beyond giving concerts—we also invest in the future of music through scholarships and, potentially, by helping strengthen music programs in our local schools. We see ourselves as enriching the cultural life of Napa Valley while helping ensure that music continues to flourish for future generations. Going into our 12th Season, we're at an exciting point in Bel Canto's growth.
